Overview
“Circle of Life” is an 8' relief sculpture of cold cast bronze and glass mosaic that was a commission completed for Gilpin Hall nursing facility in Wilmington Delaware. It is mounted to the outside of the building facade.
Goals
My goal was to make a focal point that was visually descriptive of this care facility, with their motto "Building on the Past to Create a Better Future"
Process
I worked step by step with the committee on this project to ensure that our visions matched the reality of the final piece.
Additional Information
All phases of this sculpture from design, clay and casting were completed by me. The clay was begun in May 2016 and the sculpture was installed in November 2016.
