Overview
Kinetic Light Installation with 160 pendulums with programmed white LEDs and fans
88 x 107 x 1 ft (width x height x depth)
160 pendulums are suspended from the seven story wall of the museum. The sequenced control of all pendulums’ fans allow for a sheer unlimited amount of shifting patterns to arise. The various patterns transform the seven story high back wall into an enormous, ever-changing clockwork. The wall radiates the pendulums’ movements throughout the entire building and onto the street. The static structure of the building is transformed into a kinetic topology connecting the building with the visitors.
