Overview
New Aspect Design programmed the LED light show that is built into Chroma Booster, a 55-foot-tall painted steel tower. Design by Artist Matthew Geller, this interactive sculpture includes mist, water, and light. Paying homage to the ancient tradition of having a fountain in the town square, the structure allows visitors to refresh themselves during the day with brief showers and cool themselves at night surrounded by illuminated clouds of mist.
Goals
This project was created to engage the public and establish "place" within the busy pedestrian plaza between the Convention and Performing Arts Centers and the baseball stadium of El Paso.
