Overview

Installed as a central hardscape feature, this 1,618 sf terrazzo plaza is part of a new downtown development near Washington, D.C.

Goals

The client desired a space that would activate a space as it shifts from town center to harbor. The mural includes portraits of notable figures, fauna, and other hidden icons for viewers to discover.

Process

Working directly with the client, the design was implemented within the context of the greater master plan.
