Overview

I received a prestigious commission to create a captivating 60-foot wall sculpture, adorned with depictions of indigenous New York City plant life. This splendid artwork was destined for Hogan Lovells @ 390 Madison Ave. Comprising a total of 95 meticulously crafted components, this wall sculpture boasts dimensions of 720x120x2 inches. My creative directive involved seamlessly integrating the natural essence of New York City into the piece. Drawing inspiration from the botanical wonders of Manhattan’s High Line Park in the Chelsea neighborhood, I meticulously translated this vision into a jumbo-sized sculpture wall. Unfurling across its impressive sixty-foot span, this silhouette-crafted panorama transforms into a fluid expanse of color, reminiscent of the ethereal beauty of frosted glass.

Goals

I was commissioned to create a spectacular addition to the New York Headquarters that will inspire and attract a fresh generation of law talent.

Process

Using a team of trusted vendors, my studio handles all design and fabrication from start to finish. I work directly with all stakeholders including client representatives, building mangers, architects, structural engineers while also interfacing with an onsite unionized workforce. I provide videotaped press interviews and didactic narratives.
