Goals
Simple, beautiful and edifying artwork to activate the space.
Process
The Charleston Area Medical Center board identified donors for each major piece of artwork in the new Cancer Center. Each donor contributed a pre-determined amount of funds and the resulting artwork was to commemorate a friend or family member lost to cancer. The CAMC board then engaged Healthcare Art Consulting of Dallas,TX to preside over the selection process of the artists. In the Call to Artists, each site was thoroughly described and individually applied for.
