Utilizing the design of the painting, “Houston: Beneath Waves, Reaching Greater Heights,” a mural originally painted in the Houston First Building downtown. The image was then translated into a large-scale Billboard which was displayed off of HIGHWAY/ROAD on 610 by the Galleria for 14 months. Originally the painting was a mural in the Houston Fist Building, and was eventually awarded Houston First, Sky Art Project Winner.

This work was meant to embody the spirit of Houston and keep passers by uplifted.

The original panting, "Houston: Beneath Waves, Reaching Greater Heights,” was used to created a mural in the Houston First Building. Working with fabricators, Mahimtura Folmsbee, created the digital work which then sublimation printed and finally was installed as a billboard.
