Overview
Triptych of Octopus and Seaman from reclaimed metal. Explores boundaries of the frames and how the piece can escape those. Overall piece is 84″ square with three 84″ high panels. Welded steel frames with cut and welded sheet metal and mesh. Additional texture with welded elements and rivets.
Goals
Goal was to beautify an outdoor space. Goal was for an aquatic themed panel to be placed in relation to an existing hot tub in a residential backyard.
