Overview
A common theme that connects multiple disciplines within the STEM campus is the application of fractals. Using the structural language of ball and spoke molecular models, the form of a tree branch is repeated and offset to create an abstract fractal tree that reflects creative collaborations between various areas of study. ‘Branch Out’ refers to the notion of radiating, exploring, and networking, whereas the form of a tree represents growth and thriving.
Goals
The new STEM campus required and iconic statement that touched on multiple disciplines and the collaboration between them.
