Overview
A major corporation entrusted me with a commission to craft enduring artwork for their executive C-suite offices. Tasked with infusing the essence of Montana’s flora and fauna, “Big Sky Sunset” materialized as a fictionalized landscape and sunset tableau, embodying the symbolic essence of “big sky country.”
Goals
The objective was to create enduring wall art for the CEO's office that exudes sentimentality and contemplation without overpowering the environment.
Process
I employ the non-destructive technique of photo chemical etching to delicately cut the thin metal. Additionally, I've applied paint to the concealed reverse side, enabling nuanced color-infused shadows to emerge.
