Overview

From the recent work and also from past experience, the Work for the Architectural Biennale 2016 European Cultural Centre’s exhibition demonstrates an interpretation and heightened experience of two spatial scenarios. The work is a gemini; study and tectonic model; Influenced by Gaudi’s model of the Sagrada Familia. It consists of 2 sculptural works, each 1.2 meters in diameter, elevated above the floor at approximately 2 meters. One work is suspended, one elevated. Utilizing assembled units of mirrored aluminum and dichroic-filmed; mirrored acrylic panels, the assemblage behaves tectonically and is bound together with stainless standard and custom fasteners.

Goals

The goal of the project was a response to the curator's call regarding work through tectonic means.
