Overview

The Bridgewater State University wants its pride to be known. Bristaco is roaming at its rightful place at the University. The Bear is made of bronze shards cut and twisted with granite quarried from Cape Ann, Massachusetts. Commissioned in 2020 this piece is a focal point for students and alumni for years to come. So many ways to remember where we’ve come from. This one stands for pride and endurance.

Goals

Bridgewater University is home of “Bristaco the bear”, a Mascot inspiring the alumni and future students. The University wanted a gathering place for photos and team spirit. The bear was to be prominent on campus and create a sense of place for students who wanted to take a moment of reflection.
