Overview
BALENA is carved in Zimbabwae black granite. At about 8 ton it is 13 feet tall including its 5 foot diameter reflecting pool.
Process
Working closely with the project principals a maquette was submitted, modified and approved. From the maquette the full enlargement was made as a full scale model for CNC and hand carving. The project was completed on budget and before deadline for early installation
