Overview

Entro won the competition “to create an integrated design for heritage and environmental interpretation and wayfinding” for the Wychwood Barns.

Goals

The design challenge of this project has been to showcase the heritage quality of the buildings, to tell the story of the environmental leadership of this initiative, to project community involvement and to recognize major public and private donors.

Process

Entro created a distinct branded environment incorporating key features of the heritage site such as the original floor plans and colour systems and transforming them into strong and dynamic graphic elements. This has created a winning identity. As well, a wayfinding system was developed that is both inspiring and functional and that showcases Wychwood’s history and heritage.
