Overview

What made this project exceptional? ART FOR THE WELL-BEING brings an ARTISTIC MURAL PAINTING (site-specific public art) with open access up to 864.000 citizens (research: o globo) in the spot per month at São Paulo, BRAZIL.
The project aims to contribute with ART, VISUAL CULTURE and WELL-BEING to the city of São Paulo. Moreover the project beneficies direct a public school and its students with contemporary art.

Goals

Partnership with biggest color chemistry provider in the world BASF, the biggest ink provider from Brazil, SUVINIL and brazilian artist DADO MOTTA. Created a site-specific art that contributes with international visual culture, beauty and well-being to São Paulo city. Art, from known suprematism works of pure colors, but with new scientific studies of colors and human responses the artist adds brand new technics of painting to produce an artist mural for BETTER MOODS ON ADULTS AND CHILDREN (research published in New York Times, Faber Birren and other contemporary researches), LESS STRESS (with pulse rate decrease up to 17% the direct cause of stress), EYE EQUILIBRIUM and WELL-BEING (Xavier Greffe "Arte & Mercado"), STIMULATE BRAIN: PRE FRONTAL CORTEX & HIPPOCAMPUS, BETTER ATTITUDES, STIMULATE PARASYMPATHETIC NERVOUS SYSTEM, STIMULATE ENDOCRENOUS SYSTEM WITH SEROTONIN LIBERATION (Color, Environment & Human Response) through his colors, shapes and composition painting. Another element of shape is the divine proportion contributing with beauty to the city. With free access in open air São Paulo, promoting art and "psychologically most beneficial environment" (Frank. H. Manhke). Allowing a positive experience to citizens, brands and sponsors. What are the benefits of this Artistic Mural?

Process

This project was done by DADO MOTTA ART studio with the approval and sponsorship of "ALÉM DA COR" project of SUVINIL - BASF GROUP in Sao Paulo, Brazil at may 2017 for the well-being of the spot. 45 days of pre production, 17 days of action and 30 days of post production. From project, contract, budget, material international and contemporary scientific and art researches, artist experience and background, company structure to deliver materials to painting the artistic mural with photo and video register and press office.
