Overview

The intention for “Hanging” is to invite pedestrians to stop for a moment and play. Hang drums will be arranged in the designated area. The user would sit on the sculpture seat straddling the drum. The drum is attached to the main support stand that is anchored to a concrete surface. The drums are played by tapping ones fingers on the different areas of the drum surface.
The drums make a soft melodic sound that will be audible to those in close proximity but will not carry outside the general vicinity.
