Overview
A gallery client loved an oil and graphite painting of mine titled “Solstice” which is 24″ x 36″, but needed to fill a much larger space. She commissioned me to paint essentially an enlargement of “Solstice” that was 36″ x 60″ with a 2″ deep cradle. The client loved the final painting.
Goals
This was a commission based on love at first sight but needing to fill a specific different-sized space.
Process
The gallery owner was the middle person in this process and all information between the client and myself was relayed through the gallerist.
