Overview
Wade Stadium, Duluth MN. Stainless steel, bronze. 2 sections 5’h x 15’w x 5’d. This sculpture is based on the phrase used in baseball and in everyday language to describe a powerful achievement: in this sculpture the ball has been hit so hard that it joins the solar system.
Goals
Our goal was to enhance the visual identity of the exit gates for this municipal baseball stadium, while expressing the coloful, fun aspects of baseball.
