Overview

Overlooking Austin’s skyline from the Library’s 3rd and 4th Floor windows, “🏢♦🔲🔸🔳🔷🔻🔺” reimagines our constructed landscape as a suspended spectrum of everyday urban forms in flux. "I’ve spent half my life living in urban spaces, seeing cities construct and destruct. This installation I created for the amazing Austin Central Library reimagines everyday building blocks as color fields in flux, an homage to the power of art in our lives.”

Goals

The goal was to make an original art installation that activated the window space, complemented the iconic architecture, and contributed to the library's amazing atmosphere by inviting visitors to experience new ways of seeing their world through ever-changing reflections of light and color.
