Overview
In 1999 the Women's USA soccer team won the World Cup. This moment is being celebrated outside of the Rose Bowl stadium in Pasadena, CA. This tribute statue highlights Brandi Chastain in her famous pose of ripping her shirt off in excitement and behind her is a relief panel of her team running up to join her in the celebration. The statue represents and promotes the importance of Women being celebrated in sports.
