Overview

Dimensionally fused glass. Tropic Breeze is the title for this 3-section botanical art glass mural. The concept was presented to ADC Fine Art Consultants for consideration for one of their client’s newly remodeled high rise penthouse near Cincinnati, OH. The textured, multi-layered, colorful glass design, features tropical plants flowing in the breeze on a sun filled day. The artwork measures 4 ft wide x 2 ft high and is attached to the wall with stainless steel wall mounts by Hang Your Glass, Inc. Natural sunlight enters from the surrounding windows, casting beautiful patterned shadows on the wall. The art is displayed in a prominent room with views of the meandering Ohio River.

Goals

Goals included selecting opaque and transparent pink, yellow and green glass into the design to blend the art with clients existing interior decor. This project was coordinated with Art Design Consultants (ADC) in Cincinnati, OH who worked to find the perfect art glass to complement the clients distinct contemporary decor in their penthouse with exceptional views of the Ohio River.
