Overview
“White Fish” is a public art sculpture in Whitefish, MT , that is painted steel with dimensions of 16’ x 5’ x 6’. The work was commissioned by Glacier House for the city of Whitefish, Montana. The average Whitefish is 26″ in length and 14 lbs in weight. By contrast, “White Fish” is 16 feet high and weighs over 2,000 lbs.
Goals
The goal of this project was to create a signature landmark for the Glacier House Development in Whitefish, Montana.
Process
After meeting with the client, we presented several ideas. With feedback from the hotel's directorial team, the fish theme was chosen. White Fish is the end result of a collaboration between creative management at Glacier House Hotels and our studio.
