Overview
The client wanted artwork in keeping with environmental concerns and clean energy. I developed patterns alluding to different types of energy in an abstract way.
Goals
The client was looking for a clean modern design aesthetic. The patterns etched on an unusual material hit the mark.
Process
The consultant wanted symbols developed of clean energy. I saw that as a graphic design direction. We discussed using patterns to depict the types of energy with which the company is involved. I researched ways to reproduce the hand drawn patterns and came up with etched felt using a laser cutter.
