Overview
The art consultant contacted me to have me email her several past high resolution images of previous artworks for her presentation. Her client settled on an oil painting similar to my previous abstract landscape painting titled Seasonal Whisper. The clients commission was to include highlighted features, slight color changes and site specific size requirements.
Goals
As per the art consultant the goal of the piece was to have a realistic, painterly, nature scene that can also be interpreted as a soft abstract with depth to draw in the viewer while creating a calm and meditative atmosphere for a clinical space.
Process
Clear communication between artist and art consultant was involved in this project. The materials for this original oil painting had to comprise of archival museum-quality canvas and highest quality oil paint.
Additional Information
Lutheran General owns another Tracy Lynn Pristas archival oil painting. A commission that was also in conjunction with LBD Fine Art Chicago, IL titled Settled Season 48h x 60w completed in 2009. The client wanted this oil to have a different feeling than the other painting. My craft begins by quieting my mind with meditation and traveling deep within myself, each painting I create is infused with Reiki healing energy. As a certified Reiki healer and yoga instructor for over twenty years my creations are an ideal fit for healthcare.
