Overview
This traces the light from the sun in the city. With a tremendous amount of artificial light in the built-up environment of downtown NYC, we were inspired to capture
the sun moving through the sky throughout the year. The sunlight is refracted through the crystal glass prisms and what appears to be LED lights to the ordinary viewer gets turned into an amazing natural light show. The viewer’s relationship to the sculpture as they move through the plaza changes the color of the light.

The goal was to activate a plaza with artwork.
