Overview
Coreten Steel, 8 at 17’ x 17’ x 1’ each (1,100 ft. total), -This is a sculpture exploring movement through the landscape. The sculpture is a series of 8 rings placed in a line to create a visual path. It crisscrosses the designated paths for people in a way that creates new visual corridors, suggesting new perspectives through the landscape. As I immersed myself in Richmond, I was most impressed with the distinguished network of paths at the James River Park. It is a vehicle for community stewardship and a wonderful aspect of place.
