Overview

Xavier de Richemont is a french painter born in 1959 in Algeria. Xavier de Richemont designs since 1997 monumental video installations all around the world. He created in 2012 a major permanent work about the Mayan Culture at the « Gran Museo del Mundo Maya de Merida » (Mexico). He is participating to many contemporary video art exhibitions in the United States, Mexico and Canada, and more generally on the European, African and American continents.

Goals

His lyrical graphics and shaking movements, using slow motion as a leitmotiv while mixing abstraction and narration with music in a very personal way are composed and projected with video. His researches for new manner of writing through this contemporary graphical mean, his knowledge of theatrical space and his experience as a painter make him one of the most in demand french video artist in the World.
