Client: Mohegan Sun Casino

Overview

For this project I collaborated with the design team at Mohegan Sun. The casino’s interior design concept emphasizes nature and the Mohegan Tribe’s deep spiritual connection and respect for nature.

The art team had designed and built the mosaic turtle and mosaic panels to complete the overall span of the reception wall and were seeking local and regional artists and fabricators to create additional works that would compliment the collection and help to realize their aesthetic vision, and so I was commissioned to create these two 48” tall flowers.
