10’ x 5’ x 6’, bronze; Large-scale, site-specific sculpture commissioned by the Central Ohio Transit Authority, located at the Paratransit Facility in Columbus Ohio; Sculpture suggests the enthusiastic movement of a figure in a wheelchair.$80,000 budget.

Goals

This sculpture, a commission for the Central Ohio Transit Authority, was designed specifically for a paratransit building. Thus, it needed to reflect it's viewers in a positive manner while remaining relevant to its site. The final product aims to incorporate a sense of movement in the form of a figure in a wheelchair, spinning wheels with a sense of joy and freedom.
