Overview
After researching the history of Duwamish River, I created a visual narrative about the growth of the city in a place of the ancient natives of the region. Made in ceramics and trunk fallen in the park. 4×1,5×1,5 meters
Goals
The idea was for people to find this sculpture on the walk inside the park, so the work was in a place outside the passage. Taking people into the park and looking closely at the sculpture to see details.
Process
After being selected for the job, I and the organization started a dialogue for photos and emails, about expectations, possible locations, media. Starting all the production in my studio in Brazil. After the production ended, I traveled to the United States to install the piece on the spot
Additional Information
To enable the organization negotiated, so I was able to stay at friends' house and transportation costs.
