Overview

For the mural at the Palo Alto Children's Library I proposed an image paying tribute to the book in a childlike visual style utilizing acrylic paint and old book covers. Using book parts as tiles, I incorporated them into the image by gluing them into areas appropriately related to color, texture and subject of the mural. This was to create a visual pattern but also add a tactile element to the piece.
