Overview

Working with interior designers has always been my favorite way to create art. Approached by Bradley Stephens NY, I created this original painting appx 35' high by 18' wide. It hangs under a skylight flooding it with natural light. The artwork was created to work with the lights in the space too.

Goals

The Greenwich Atrium wanted to make a mark on it's tenants and their clients with a seminal piece of artwork honoring New York City's natural and unnatural environs. This was a huge painting hand stretched by our expert assistant.

Process

The process was so easy, great clients and contractors helped me to erect the stretcher onto the wall and stretch the canvas. I worked directly on the wall with a scissor lift. It was fun! Start- to-finish this project took 6 months.

Additional Information

The movement of this artwork accentuates the glory of the atrium architecture. Simple and plain.
