Overview
"Flame Figure" The sculpture is sited at Stadium Station – part of the Utah Transit
Authority’s Trax Light Rail LIne. The towering figure is a graceful and powerful reminder
that athletes from around the world gathered at Rice/Eccles Stadium for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2002 Winter Olympics.
Goals
The goal was to have this place for the Olympics.
