Client: Village Care Rehab and Nursing

Overview

This work is 84″l x 84″h x 3″d. Powder coated forged steel.

Goals

It was important for Village Care to be able to add donation plaques in the future, after the artwork was installed. I solved this problem by creating a hinged door that can be opened by a high placed latch. The bars are predrilled and plaques may be easily added at any time.

Process

I worked with the art service group to design the donator panels. I submitted sketches and the art services group created a final sketch based on my ideas. I work from that to build the artwork. When it was completed, I shipped the piece to the site and it was installed by a team provided by the art services group.
