Goals
The goal for the muralist was to provide "a sense of place and character" to this new Apartment Lobby in Downtown Oakland. The artwork strove for the "Oakland feel", inspired by Oakland's creative culture, it's diversity and originality.
Process
Brian Barneclo was granted artistic license and originality was encouraged by Sage Loring (Local Edition) and the 777 Apartments Development team. Artwork was created in 3 days.
