Overview
Creation of monument in Carrara Marble. Half size model cooperation with Larry Noble. Carving of slightly oversized angel and pedestal from solid blocks.
Goals
Stone carving to express the saddest moments and grief of human life and to commemorate a great human being.
Process
Constant conversation with client to develop final design, materials, textures, etc.

Client chose Marcel Mächler due to his restoration work at the Angel of Grief at Stanford University. Location of monument : Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, PA.
