Roberto Delgado's work evolves from the reality of the photo. Both his easel work and public art murals are based on the people and circumstances he encounters. A camera is always near. Delgado did his time in the US Army and UCLA with some living in Rome, Mexico City, and Honduras. Some of this was with a couple of Fulbrights Fellowships. He works and lives in LA and Chiapas, Mexico, and continues to paint. Lately, he's been re-firing odd remnants of his tile commissions in public art, a growth industry.
