I created this series of powerful female dancers to exemplify their free spirit, joyfulness and perseverance. These large abstracted female sculptures express independence, strength and a lust for life. I look forward to the opportunity to make even more exuberant abstracted female forms that encourage community and activate public spaces to be places of joy and friendship. I would love to make an arched bridge with dancing figures supported by large flying figures on each end welcoming every one into a wonderful transforming space. I plan to include LED lighting in my sculpture in the future.
