Robert Barnum specializes in metal outdoor sculptures, oil paintings, murals and watercolor painting. Robert has sculptures and murals in ten different states throughout the US almost all earned thru national competitions. Robert is also a signature member of Watercolor USA Honor Society, the American Watercolor Society and the National Watercolor Society. Two of Roberts sculpture monuments/memorials have earned Congressional Recognition. Robert is a full Professor of Art and was awarded Michigan Artist of the year! Barnum was involved in developing a 20-year plan to develop Ferris State University’s campus-wide art museum dedicated to Michigan artists, and he helped to create the Mecosta County Public Art Initiative with the goal of developing county wide art collection. Barnum has won over 30 awards in National and International Juried Competitions.
