Digital media and sculpture form the core of Danielle Roney's artistic practice, dedicated to how art and technology create meaning in the 21st century public realm. Working across mediated sculpture, fluid architectures, and time-based media, she has executed iconic works that demonstrate her logistical and conceptual capacities for destination development; exemplifying how we individually and collectively navigate our place in the world. Informed by Roney’s hybrid artistic practice and history working fluidly across mediums, Danielle Roney Studio synthesizes computationally driven approaches to design and fabrication with highly refined hand-based techniques. Emblematic projects have been created for world tech headquarters, preeminent medical research and healthcare facilities, international airports, and mixed-use developments. Roney’s work has been exhibited in galleries and institutions across the US and internationally. She designed the U.S. Pavilion, Venice Biennale of Architecture, 2010 with the High Museum of Art and 306090, Hong Kong.
