My sculpture is rooted in a love of nature, the built environment and inspired by the life forces binding us together. I use diverse genre, materials and themes to bring people together to enjoy the site, one another and celebrate community. To build these connections, evoking feelings of belonging and joy, the works are inspired by the site’s history, its uses and stories we tell. My role is to create the concept and vision, manage the project, and work with the owners, design team, skilled trades and craftspeople to bring the vision to fruition.
