The CODAsummit Story: Reflections On Creating Community

VIDEO: Highlights from a CODAsummit in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The first CODAsummit was in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2018. Bringing together artists, commissioners, industry resources, and other professionals from the public art world, the conference was such a success, that it became clear to CODAworx a large community yearning for something exactly like CODAsummit existed. Since 2018, CODAworx has hosted these gatherings and partnered with major corporations and public art agencies in the United States to help connect creative revolutionaries with one another. People have found work, learned about the significance of public art projects, and contemplated perspectives that changed their lives or careers during these fascinating events.

A CODAsummit can bring together people who are interested in sharing information about the amazing artwork and technology that is changing environments, economies, entertainment options, and other aspects of our lives. Organized with different professions in mind, each CODAsummit offers a lot of different perspectives and attracts professionals from numerous fields and industries. Speakers, panel members, or case study presenters who have shared their insights at a CODAsummit in the past include fascinating and successful individuals such as Refik Anadol, Susan Narduli, Guto Requena, Vince Kadlubek, and Tracey Jerome. The chance to learn from and connect with brilliance draws arts administrators, fabricators, creatives, architects, design consultants, and technology leaders to these conferences. The next CODAsummit is scheduled for October 12-14 in Denver, Colorado.
