Welcome to the July issue of CODAmagazine, where we share the best in design + art projects from all over the world. The magazine is published ten times a year by CODAworx. We’re an online community for artists and design professionals to showcase their work, collaborate with one another, and earn recognition for their projects.

Art that unites the Earth with our urban environments is the organizing principle of this month’s issue. Design professionals and artists approached these projects with love and respect for the places we call home, wherever we are, city or country, urban or rural. This month, CODAmagazine highlights 25 works which care for our environments.

Collaboration is key in these projects, whether it is the collaboration of two countries, as found in Linda Covit’s Curly Willow / Northern Pine, or the collaboration between artist and nature, found in The Hummingbird Palace by Esther Solandz and Spiral Wetland by Stacy Levy. All projects, big and small, included in this issue will certainly delight and have you consider what it means to design for our environments and help us rediscover a sense of place.

This remarkable collection is a beautiful portrayal of what artists and design professionals can achieve when they set out to design our urban and rural spaces. We hope you will subscribe to CODAmagazine on Flipboard to receive the best design + art projects from all over the world, delivered to you, free of charge, each month. We look forward to sharing these incredible collaborations with you.

Sincerely,
Toni Sikes
