Fox Meadows Neighborhood Park is a 9-acre parcel just south of Ninth Avenue in east central Longmont, west of Weld County Road #1. The park is expected to include a nature-themed playground, basketball court, picnic shelter, a sledding hill, a bocce court, planting beds, perennial gardens and a public art project. A highly successful artwork project will be seamlessly incorporated into the park design. The selected artist will work directly with Public Art staff and the Parks team.

The budget for the artwork is up to and not to exceed $60,000. This budget includes all costs for design, fabrication, transportation and installation of the artwork, including but not limited to all design fees, fabrication, material and equipment costs, professional fees, travel and lodging during design, fabrication, insurance, overhead, site preparation, foundation, installation costs, including all contractors, equipment and a minimum of 10% contingency. This project does not include lighting.
