Imagine creating a community focused artwork that will incite curiosity around how science and technology can address humanitarian issues and efforts in your community and around the world. NASA Lifelines is looking for artists based in St. Louis, Washington D.C., New Orleans, Detroit & Nashville to create murals that showcase how NASA science and technology can address humanitarian challenges and help people in need. To apply, simply submit images of your past work, either a resume or bio, and answer a few short questions about your interest, inspiration and experience
Working with NASA Lifelines, a selected artist from each city will design and paint the mural on a wall identified by our team. The murals should be completed by June 15th, 2024. The selected artists will have a budget of $7,250 that must include all materials, labor, equipment and overhead.
