The Marlin and Regina Miller Art Gallery at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania is seeking proposals for a site-specific gallery installation piece, culminating after a 4 week in person artist residency.
The focus for this artist residency is to continue building a contemporary art community with artists exploring new mediums and concepts in a changing world. This program creates opportunities for new perspectives and creative processes to be shared. In turn positively impacting the cultural and creative landscape process by actively making work that is relevant to present time and a deeper understanding of the human condition.
This artist residency provides artists with opportunities to dive deeply into their artistic research, practice, and creative endeavors. We encourage proposals from underrepresented and BIPOC artists, crafts persons, and designers for the production of this original, temporary, site-specific installation for our exhibition space.
