The City of Aurora is seeking proposals for a wide range of lighted, site-reactive installations and creative experiences intended for outdoor display throughout downtown Aurora, October 11 -13, 2024. Varying in scale and media, these lighted activations will draw guests along a pathway from one interactive experience to the next. Installations must remain fully functional, regardless of weather, for a minimum of 3 days. Some locations are available for 4-8 week display. Project opportunities range from $750 to $15,000.

LUMENAURA: Aurora’s inaugural illuminated art experience will light up the downtown riverfront throughout the month of October 2024. A three-day festival weekend from October 11 through October 13 will feature dozens of immersive art experiences, performances, and dazzling light projections. The dynamic weekend of events will include live music, roving performers, live street art, and more.
