The UNMC COD (College of Dentistry) building, located in Lincoln, NE, is currently being renovated. With the renovations, the selection Committee sees this as a great opportunity to include artwork that is refreshing, calming, and has some forward progression, similar to always looking forward to new research and technology in the the dental health industry. The artwork should have a fresh, inviting feel that welcomes people into the clinic. They also acknowledge the fact the dentist office can be a traumatic or stressful experience, and would like to help patients feel more comfortable and soothed in the space through the artwork.

The Committee believes the most public and visible site within the building is in the Dental Clinic entrance. The artwork site is the glass wall which is visible from the main street that leads drivers and pedestrians through campus.
