  • Brief Description

Artwork can be stand alone or integrated into the Top Greene Building and surrounding grounds. Artwork can be placed along the South Park East Raleigh Heritage Walking route as well as arteries or spurs of the walking paths. The proposed South Park Heritage Walk, for the first time, will comprehensively tell the story of an important historically Black neighborhood–the South Park neighborhood. The walk route is included in the boundary of the Council-endorsed South Park Cultural District. The artist will have the opportunity to collaborate with the architectural and design teams on placement and integration of the artwork. Work with community stakeholders and elders to continue telling the story of the park and surrounding neighborhoods.
