Bathroom, Toilet, Lavatory - whatever you call it, these spaces are as important as any other spot in our museum. These places are familiar to us all, and our visits to them have the potential to be transcendent experiences.

Mad Arts is seeking proposals to transform its museum restrooms into exciting locations where guests can do their business. We encourage ideas that challenge the typical experiential and conceptual value of a trip to the restroom.

We are searching for proposals that augment and elevate the typical restroom experience. Proposals might include (but are not limited to) surface applications, lighting installations, projections, digital screens, audio, etc.
